All of my tests for my gallbladder have come back normal. 🙂 I still have some pain, but the doctor thinks it is insignificant because it is minor. Now I just need to fully get over my bug. I feel so much better compared to the last couple weeks. I should be all ready to go to Tulsa this weekend for Nancy’s B-Day and to start my new job on Monday. 🙂
One thing I have learn these past 8 months in OK (can you believe it has been that long) is that the weather is a very fickle thing. Yesterday I wrote about the beautiful weather we were having and today we are back in freezing temperatures with a light dusting of snow. This has definitley been a strange winter. 🙂
Today is such a beautiful day! The sun is shining and even though the wind carries a little chill, it is not nearly as cold as it has been. This afternoon I went to Panera Bread to buy one of their multi-grain loaves (very yummy) and then to the grocery store to buy a couple items that we needed. It felt wonderful to be outside! Jason came home for lunch for which I made what I call “grown-up” grilled cheese sandwiches made with colby-jack, chicken and tomatoes. We spent lunch eating at the kitchen table and watching Sadie through our kitchen windows running around the backyard in the sunshine. This weather has to be a nice change for her.
I have to admit that this week in between jobs is starting to spoil me. It has already done me so much good. I feel more rested and my sinuses feel so much better. I have a doctors appt tomorrow to go over the results of my hydra-scan. Hopefully, everything will go well. I start my new job on Monday and I am very excited! I will be working with a new friend that I have made in my Sunday school class. (Jason and I joined a young marrieds “flock”.) I am so excited to get to know her better.
Well, I better be going. It sounds like my puppy wants to come inside, even though I have no idea why she would want to. 🙂
I decided to be pampered a couple weeks ago and get my hair done. I love the new cut. It doesn’t take me long to do and it is very easy. I just thought I would post a picture for friends and family. 🙂
For those of you who do not know, I (Kellie) have been suffering from a sinus infection and stomach issues for the last week and a half. My antibiotics have started to help my sinus infection, even though I still feel pressure. My doctor sent me to have an ultrasound of my gallbladder which has come back clean. 🙂 Next she is sending me to a have a scan of my gallbladder and intestines which will be followed up by a visit with a GI doctor next week. This has definitley been no fun. Please pray for me right now, that the doctors will find what is wrong with my tummy and for a quick recovery. Thank you.
Jason and I just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Jan 3. We cannot believe it has been 4 years already! Jason surprised me with flowers that were delivered to my work. All of my co-workers loved them and told me how spoiled I was! They all think he is the best, which I would definitely agree with. 🙂 Friday, Jason took me to The Melting Pot in Bricktown. We continued our Fondue tradition. We spent or 1st and 2nd anniversaries at La Fondue in Saratoga CA. Last year we didn’t have fondue, but that was ok with us since our trip to Napa Valley was amazing. I love celebrating our anniversary. It is wonderful to look back and celebrate our years together and look forward to many more. I love him with all my heart!
